I was treated by Dr. Helms for insertional achilles tendonitis, and he worked with me for several months to get rid of my heel pain. I had tried other methods of recovery, but nothing seemed to work. Running is part of my every day life, so not being able to run was very difficult. I was lucky to find Dr. Helms, as he has decades of experience treating achilles problems. He is also a runner with a history of achilles injuries, so he knew exactly what I was going through. Outstanding Doctor! He helped me with a couple very uncomfortable foot issues over the last 15 years with a treatment that no one else was using that really helped with one of my issues. It's made walking - and running - more comfortable.

The staff and doctor are some of the most concerned, patient, and friendly in the entire medical profession (I don't say that lightly). It's a joy to be in an office where it is clear that the Doctor and staff have a passion for what they do and empathy for the patient as more than something to medically observe - rather, they treat you with dignity and care.

I have tendinitis and two nurses worked with me in fitting me for foot support. They tried a few different types of support for me and different padding options to make sure that I had the best solution. They were friendly, patient and knowledgeable.
