Makaela did a great job on my hair. She was professional, paid attention to detail, and made sure everything came out how I wanted. I’m new to the area and had a difficult time trusting someone new with my hair. The appointment was smooth, and the results held up well. Definitely a solid stylist ❤️ would recommend anybody and will be returning 🤏🏾🤏🏾

i wouldn't book with Brittany she has messed up my mothers hair 2 times now boh times she didnt give her what she requested and this time she has left a bald spot in the back.

I wish I could give it 0, but since you can’t I’ll give it a 1. My hair appointment was at 12:50, I arrived at 12:45. I checked in and the individual who was my stylist (do not want to share name) did not touch my hair till 1:30 for a wash. After wash I was under the dryer and she said it will be 20 minutes. The dryer went off and I was sitting in the chair till around 2:30. My appointment was supposed to end at 2:35. At that point I asked if she could just rinse my hair out and I went somewhere else. At the time of my appointment there were 2 other people ahead of me. I wish that would have been shared instead of me having to figure it out on my own. I then had to pay $15 for the wash. I feel that with something like that I should have not had to, because you could not get to my hair.

I had a great experience at Black Lotus Hair Company. The salon is clean, organized, and has a really welcoming vibe.
You can tell they take pride in their work and I also noticed they offer a ton of services beyond just styling, which makes this place convenient if you want everything in one spot.
Overall, definitely worth trying if you’re in Indy with good customer service.

I got to give yall 5 stars!! Started on time, clean, the COMFIEST couch in the lobby, great front service with check in and spoke so lovely with my child. JESSICA who did my child hair was great. Nice wash, her talent with my 8 year old daughter’s hair is amazing. She was nice, polite, and great with kids. This will literally be my daughter’s hairstylist. We me and my daughter love her DOWN. 10/10 experience. Music was great and good smelling incense. I felt at home and for it to be our 1st time there, man I’m impressed and very grateful. I recommend truly. Andprice was reasonable. And I don’t even leave reviews for no one but for Jessica I have to and WILL. She is AMAZING 🥹 Picture so yall ca see her work. God bless her and my daughter not use to hair salons I mostly do her hair so this is more blessings than one. 10/10!

It was $130 for a two strand twist with my natural hair. The lady, though nice, was 15 minutes late to the appointment. But the main thing was I had some pieces at the back that were long and she said she was gonna fix it. I’m thinking she was twisting some together or something. Nope. She tied them into KNOTS, which I did not realize until I left, unfortunately. Not a SUPER bad experience, but not worth $130

The business is professionally ran and the vibe is great. My reason for not returning is due to the loctian. I paid $40 for a consultation where she quoted me $180 for interlocking. On the day of the appointment, she wrote down $250 and ran out the door. I would've been ok with that if my locs would've held up for 2 months or more. But they didn't. Two weeks later my locs came apart like they were palm rolled. Normally interlocking lasts 2-4 months on my locs. Please note: my appointment was 3 wks later in the same month as the consultation. She could of discussed the price change up front, if there was one. I was hurt by the deception.
