“The salon and their owners have been a staple on Grant Street since the 60s. That being said, three generations of women in my family have had the Ms. Rosie Press and Curl magic. No one else gets your hair and your edges "relaxer straight," and Ms. Rosie & her sister Ms. Betty are sweet as pie. You honestly can't leave without a healthful juice drink and/or a hug. Also, if you're into alternative medicine, there's a naturopath on staff, as well as wonderful colon-therapy for when you're...well...you know. It's so much more effective than an enema.“

She's friendly and genuinely cares about all the clients. I learned today, 1/25/2022 when I called to reschedule my appointment that the Stylist that has been cutting & highlighting my hair for 27 years left to go to another Salon. I don't understand her lack of loyalty to the owner who gave her, her 1st job fresh out of beauty school. I'm remaining with Shear Magic. I like the personal feel of the Salon. Debbie Morrison now cuts my hair and she actually cut and styled it so much better.Service: Haircut“

She was an absolute gem in that department, she was also sweet and I could tell loves her craft! This appointment was for the consult, and haircut, which also included wash with an amazing scalp and neck massage, dry and style! She carefully explains everything that she uses on your hair and why, so complete and amazing, I can’t recommend this salon enough at this point, I’ve already scheduled my color and smoothing treatment , don’t delay, make your appointment now, you’ll be glad you did!“
