I found these words written by my Grandma Jo across the back of an envelope while at her house about 8 years ago. This was after we knew about her Alzheimer's diagnosis but before she had started losing abilities like writing, speaking, etc. I knew then that this was a special little treasure, so I tucked the envelope away, planning to eventually use it for a tattoo. Today felt like the right moment to honor both of my grandmas - the writing and purple petunias for Grandma Jo and the hummingbird for Grandma Wanda. I'm so happy to have this reminder to look at everyday ♡ Thanks to Scott at Bully Breed Tattoo for helping me honor my Grandma Joanne and Grandma Wanda with this beautiful piece of art.
