I have attended many funerals and visitations at this location. It has the potential to be 5 stars. However, I attended a visitation yesterday and was put off. The benches in the east room are stained, old and worn. They need updating and dark upholstery. It felt like I was on a Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Viewing started at 12 and I arrived at about 12:30. An employee came in and started vacuuming during the viewing. That detail should have been handled prior. I have only ever experienced kindness and compassion from the employees. That is a plus.

Mrs. Valerie and the entire staff was very professional. They took the time to explain everything they needed from my family and I. The staff worked together as a team. Ms. Valerie and staff called us in to make sure we were satisfied with everything before the funeral. My family and I were well pleased. The Champion-Collins-Preyna Family

They did a wonderful job when my daddy died. I have only been to Gary a few times,, and my uncle made some decisions and left some for me, but this was my first funeral and i didn't know nothing! They were very professional and Iesha (I dealt with her more) made a difficult situation easy, as did her colleagues.
