“While in town visiting our daughter from Florida, my left knee locked in place partially bent on a Saturday afternoon, and I was taken to the hospital. After tests and an MRI, it was determined I had a serious tear in the meniscus and I was released the next day. They suggested I get with a sports orthopedic facility as soon as possible. I did some research and saw OrthoIndy had an urgent care about 20-minutes from where we were staying, so we headed over there Monday morning. When the receptionist saw my leg and the test results, she got with her boss, found out what Doctor was available that day for a consult, and made it happen. While we had to wait for a few hours to see the Surgeon, it was well worth it as I had surgery the next day, and was walking without crutches the evening of my surgery. The team at the Greenwood Clinic as well as the Main Hospital were great!“
