Based on the reviews, Oak Street Health Fort Wayne Primary Care Clinic is different in a good way. The doctors and staff take a proactive approach and explained everything so well. Patients feel very confident they care about their patients from the reception desk to seeing the doctor. They take time with the patients and never feel rushed. The NP is awesome and takes care of patients, working some denials with insurance companies. The NP has always given the most respect and takes her time asking if she could do anything to make the patient feel better. The staff is excellent. Patients are very pleased and have no complaints. They have referred family members and feel great about it. The clinic also helped with testing that was needed and had been neglected. One patient had a sore inside their mouth and their doctor knew it was cancer and was on it.
Parking was super easy! I felt very comfortable and was welcomed with big smiles, and politeness. I really felt like everyone was interested in me and my concerns. Am looking forward to being a patient there
The, staff is overwhelmed and my care team is getting, rushed, I want to be able to talk more about problems, not add problems to the system, I'm sure that they want to help, I don't think 🤔 they're able to do a lot of things due to time, each visit is different, and can't be pushed into a, time frame, some things take longer to understand the situation ! ? I may not be explaining,as good as need be? But it's not the staff's fault that, there are different types of needs at times, and that may take longer.!
Oak Street is different in a good way. They take a proactive approach and explained everything so well. I'm going back for testing that is needed and been neglected...my guess is due to insurance issues. I'm very pleased.
