We are visiting Fort Wayne. Our dog had been sick for the past month, and we had to make the difficult decision to put her to sleep. My husband called FWPH to schedule this, nervous that we would be judged for our decision, but we were met with nothing but compassion from all the staff involved. They gave us complimentary paw and nose prints for tangible reminders of our beloved dog. We couldn't have asked for a better way to end that chapter of our lives, as difficult as it was. Dr Marcus is the best! From our initial frantic meeting many years ago when my puppy had an allergic reaction, to seeing her on the schedule and coming to treat her when we were told to expect another provider near the end of her life. We had moved away between those times and it meant a lot to me that he made my pup feel important to him. I always recommend him to friends looking for a new vet. He's also very down to earth and treats you like an equal.
