The owner is pretty great. Met him a few years back. Every time I go I'm treated with respect and kindness. Some places in town treat customers badly [lots to say but I'll leave it at that]. This is the best beauty supply store in town. Prices have raised with inflation, but that's everywhere. They keep a lot of products in stock. So that you're not overwhelmed, just ask for the item you came to buy.
