We actually just had our yearly visit today with Robin and my Mom just loved her. She talked with Mom, listened to her with compassion. Just all around a Great person! They are always so easy to get in touch with. The compassion towards myself, when I speak to them is amazing. Things can be tough in the caregiving role, and they are very understanding of these things. They’ve literally been like a therapist for me at times. “No complaints! Ya'll have been great. The beat part I liked was the weekly Wednesday meeting where the A team came to my room including the doctor, his assistant, nursing etc to keep me informed. Every hospital should have weekly meetings with the patients. The staff here is great but Maggie,RN and Evelyn have a special place in my heart. They treated me like their sister. Everyone should be like these two. I have been very satisfied with my stay at Kindred.“

I trust them completely—whether I need to step out of the house, get some rest, or when my husband is working, I know she is safe and cared for.

Like any agency, there have been a few nurses who weren’t the right fit, and we did have to let a couple go for issues like falling asleep or not meeting our needs. The great thing is that you get to meet each nurse beforehand for a meet-and-greet, which really gives you a chance to see if they’ll be a good match for your family. The nurses come trained, but once they’re in your home, you can guide them on what works best for your loved one’s specific care.

As for Maxim, they have been incredibly helpful from the beginning—supportive, responsive, and always willing to answer our questions. They’ve worked hard to make sure we have consistent, reliable nurses for Nova.
