I went in as a complete beginner to woodworking and wanted to build a coffee mug display shelf for my wife. Roger taught me how to use the miter saw, drill press, orbital sander, and palm router. He clearly explained all the steps of the woodworking process and gave me lots of information on the considerations for using different types of wood joinery, glue, and finishes.

The classes were completely hands-on and I got the experience of building the shelf myself from cutting the wood pieces to length, all the way to applying the finishing coats.“
