We have lived in one of their rentals for more than six years now, and I can honestly say it’s been a great experience. Gretchen and Ruth have always treated us with respect and kindness. Any maintenance needs were addressed promptly, communication has always been immediate, and we’ve never had problems with rent or the administrative side of things. It’s rare to find a rental company that makes you feel taken care of, but they absolutely do.

Gretchen and Ruth did a great job helping us to sell our home in the fall, after peak season. From start to finish they were organized and listened, while making good suggestions on what the house needed to sell, which included painting and carpeting, Gretchen was flexible but sensible on listing price and went out of her way to ensure work was finished in a professional manner, usually working with contractors herself. Her contacts also made sure all the little things were done well, like outside cleanup, indoor house cleaning, landscaping suggestions, and trash removal. Gretchen was amazing to work with! She was patient, direct, and organized. She had my best interests in mind and even continued to assist me after closing on my house. If I ever buy another home, I will absolutely use Gretchen and Bloomington Rentals and Realty again.
