“We used Compassion Home Care of Illinois for my mom post hip replacement surgery. Compassion Home Care of Illinois replaced a company that could not provide reliable care coverage, and they really stepped up to the plate! I called them the day before a holiday weekend, in the evening, and at 11AM the next morning we had replacement care givers. We had the same two care givers the entire time we used their service, and they could not have been nicer or more caring. They put the other agency to shame with the amount of work they did with and for mom in the short time they were there - they never slowed down!I can highly recommend Compassion Home Care of Illinois for anyone needing live-in care. We will definitely reach out to them again if we need more assistance.“

“We needed to find 24-hour care for my mom in hospice, starting At 6pm on a Friday evening. Traycee was the only service to call us back out of 6 or 7 that we tried, and we had a caregiver by 9pm that evening. Every single person who worked those final12 days of my mom’s life was dedicated and caring. I was able to phone screen each person to ensure I felt comfortable, and when there wasn’t a good fit, a replacement was found immediately. The responsiveness and caring of the entire team was impressive. Highly recommend for families in need of these services!“

“These people were incredibly helpful to me when I was trying to take care of an elderly friend of mine in Wilmette. Specifically, they have a team of social workers who understand seniors' needs and also have access to other resources that can satisfy those needs. They provided excellent advice to me and, most importantly for me, they were my eyes on the scene (I live in Seattle). Through regular visits, they kept an eye on my friend and also her caregivers. If you're not able to do that yourself, believe me, you need that! They also provided transportation and shopping assistance, as well conversation and outings for my friend. Yes, you'll pay for their help. For me and my friend, I think every dollar was well spent. So, if you're facing some challenges in trying to care for an elderly relative or friend, give them a call and talk to them about what they may be able to do for you.“

“My experience with Care in the Home was the best. My mom had surgery and care in the home was the Home Health company assigned to her. my mom was discharged on a Saturday. I called the number provided and I spoke to someone named Tracy and she got the ball rolling. My mom had an exceptional nurse, Thierry. She was very attentive and just wonderful. She even volunteered to pick my mom’s meds once. She coordinated my mom’s care with the doctor and got all my mom’s medical needs taken care of. Juan and Ewa were my mom’s physical therapists and they were more than wonderful. They got her back in shape in no time. I’m more than grateful for the care my mom received from Care in the Home. I think they are the best home health company in the Chicagoland area.“
