I joined the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce in late 2022 as a new realtor looking to build visibility in the community. What I've discovered over the past few years goes far beyond business. It's about being part of a genuine extended family. The sheer activity level sets them apart. I’ve been an active member with Wheaton Chamber of Commerce for just over a year now. As a regular networker and prior member of other local Chambers, I can honestly say that this Chamber takes the cake. Business has doubled for me in the last year alone. What makes the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce special isn’t the events, programs, or networking opportunities (although those are fantastic as well) it’s the people. I don't have any experience with the many events that the chamber throws but as a member for several years, I can say the director and staff have always been responsive, helpful, and incredible networkers who love to make thoughtful connections among many members. It follows my personal philosophy of how local businesses should be run: that we all benefit and are made stronger in each other's successes.
