The counselors I talked with regarding my adult son have been compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable and supportive staff. I wish I could name the two beautiful ladies that helped me through my tears and pain/ while navigating help for my son. Thank you for your kindness.
Shawn Listened to me. I'm new. Fast call back in a crisis where I felt beyond sad. I drove here to see what it looks like. I'm going to try this. It looks so nice. He treated me so kindly I needed it. Gave me tons of options. Coming in next week.
I attended a peer support group the week before last and it was so nice to be around other people who are in need of help, too. I was having a hard time finding a therapist and it was helpful to have interaction with others in the group. I had no prior knowledge of NAMI and they seem to be a wonderful, caring group of people.
