About Access Des Plaines Valley Health Center
Access Des Plaines Valley Health Center is a healthcare facility that provides care for its patients. One of its doctors, Dr. Adams, is highly regarded by a patient who felt "100 percent better and a new person" after being under their care. The doctor's attentiveness and dedication allowed the patient to receive the necessary medication and get on the path to recovery. Another doctor, D'andre, is described as the "best" by a 65-year-old patient. However, the patient had a negative experience with a staff member who was in charge of conducting blood work. The patient described this individual as careless, not listening, and rude. They made two mistakes regarding the patient's height and weight. The healthcare center also employs a Physician Assistant named D'andra Mixon, who is highly praised for their understanding and caring demeanor towards a patient with anxiety and a fear of needles. Mixon stayed with the patient during their first blood draw and held their hand, making the experience less stressful. The patient has never had a negative experience with any of the nurses and has always received kind and understanding treatment from the staff. The patient also acknowledges that healthcare is a complex system with policies and rules set by various entities, and they express empathy towards the workers in the field. The patient is grateful for the care they have received at Access Des Plaines Valley Health Center.
