Within the hour of our first call to Thompson, a number of kind gentlemen arrived at our home, where Jim had passed. They treated our devastated family with compassion and consideration. Gently, they prepared Jim for his drive to Thompson Funeral Home, leaving our driveway as though they were in procession.
The following morning, our family met with Debbie. From the moment we entered, as Debbie stood to welcome us, we felt the warmth and comfort of our surroundings. Debbie sat with us for hours, explaining every detail of Thompson's services, and answering all of our questions. While being very professional and knowledgeable, Debbie was also very kind and caring.
For the consideration of our friends and family, due to winter weather and travel concerns, there was a time lapse between Jim's death and his service. Questions on our part arose. Thus, we were in contact with Debbie's staff members, Donna and Annette, on several occasions. They too were kind and caring. No question or concern went unanswered, and they were answered promptly.
As the day of Jim's service neared, we asked for Debbie's advice on placement of the floral arrangement we had ordered. We followed Debbie's suggestions, and the chapel setting was perfect.

I called and left message with Advanced Energy Systems and they responded to my message within the hour and a tech was on site that afternoon. Brian quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem.
During this initial service call I signed up for their annual service program and they just finished this year’s service. I didn’t need to call to request the annual inspection, everything was auto scheduled and completed seamlessly.

A giant chunk of tree snapped during the storm yesterday. It was dangerously wedged in the tree. Called this service, they came out within 2 hours for an estimate. Arrived 7:00AM today. Cut and cleaned by 9:00AM. Excellent service.

Jeff and his son did an absolute killer job on my new counter tops, I wanted my old ones replaced but I didn’t wanna get ripped off by a big company, I had an estimate with home depot but found this company much easier, and friendlier to work with. I had them redo my countertops and install a new sink; it’s nice to see a father and son team putting in great work and at very reasonable prices!
I brought jim my 2 brass props that were badly chewed up and he restored and rebalanced them to look like new. I took the brass props to air marine first and they wouldnt touch them and when I asked Jim about it he didnt even give it tla second thought. Jim and his wife Jen are very personable and nice and their work is second to none. I would recommend fox lake props to anyone and everyone. Thank you Jim for the hard work you do at a very reasonable price.
Showed up on time was very pleasant on the phone and returned my call in a timely manner. Very fair price didn't try to sell me the world amd made recommendations and suggestins based on what I want to do with my fireplace. Mine is set up for gas only and he did make sure it can be used for both gas and log. Highly recommend

Chris and his assistant Joe did a amazing remodel on my bathroom. Top notch, first rate. There attention to details were beyond my expectations. Chris listens to what you are wanting and often will not only make suggestions but also explains why. I have received many compliments on the this from not only family but friends also. If you are wanting a project done both professionally and at fair price, look no further. Just a quick note I live in Villa Park. This was outside his normal area but had no issues with coming this far.

First of all, the gentleman's name is Tolo. This is the 2nd time we have used Herrera for our landscaping project. From the initial contact to completion was about a 7 days..max 10 days. Tolo communicated frequently and responded to my text message within two hours, most of the time 1 hour. I love their work and the crew has always been friendly and respectable. I highly recommend Herrera for any landscaping project. The key is to communicate and ensure you explain your vision. Tolo does make recommendations however, he is very respectful of the homeowners decisions. The work completed the first time was landscaping around the house, several trees mulched, and a beautiful stone walk way with complementing plants. Currently, he is regrading the back yard and constructing a timber retaining wall.
This company was a great ‘find’! Our project replaced a rather large U-shaped laminate countertop with quartz. Custom Marble and Granite were very responsive, reasonably-priced, with a quality product and installation to match. Installation was performed within a week of measurements. I would highly recommend using Custom Marble and Granite.
I had such a great experience here. Everyone was kind, helpful, and completely nonjudgmental. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly, review my X-rays with me, and outline exactly which teeth need work, along with the cost and plan moving forward. The bedside manner was excellent, and I felt comfortable and informed the entire time. I’m so grateful I found this office!

The review that gave them one star because the way a landscaping truck was driving is ridiculous. I've been using Earth Developments for almost 10 years on every type of project you can imagine. Not only are by far the best landscapers I've ever worked with - they are the best contractor I've ever worked with. They are fair in their pricing and do great work. Shabica, the coastal and bluff engineering firm, was so impressed with their bluff work and limestone steps, they use it as their example of how bluff work should be done (for a much better price than other landscapers).
Josh and his team helped me in an emergency situation with my short term rental property. He is very communicative and responsive and has a lot of knowledge about properly cleaning rentals. We hired his team full time to handle the rest of our cleans.Services: Standard cleaning
Quality came out and repaired the rollers on our 20-year old Pella slider and also put on a thin bead of silicone sealant around the bottom of the three doors. There were out in two days from when I called them and they did a terrific job. The door slides like it did when we built the house. Highly recommend!
VERY good experience! I was worried about my dog needing anesthesia for a procedure and everyone in the office put me completely at ease. Then they followed up afterward to make sure she was doing ok. I’m VERY happy with our treatment at this office. Highly recommended!
