I wanted to wait to write this review. I'm a person who takes reviews seriously, and I wanted to make sure mine was not only conscientious and accurate, but most importantly helpful to you, the reader, who may be trying to decide whose hands to place their trust, money, and future happiness in.
I can speak only from my own experience. I had an awake BBL and Lipo 360 with Dr. Gregory Bazell in June 2025. Dr. Bazell was actually the second surgeon to work on me, brought in to improve and correct the work of a first. Because of that experience, choosing another surgeon was not something I took lightly.
The work Dr. Bazell did has not only stood the test of time, but exceeded all of my expectations.
He is succinct in his explanations, yet informative. No fluff, no fuzzy edges. There is no car salesmanship. He was straightforward about what he could do and what I could realistically expect. He is a professional of both his job and his art, someone who does as he says and says what he will do, no more and no less.
Before surgery, I had no butt. No curves, no waist, no hips, no shape. I had spent my whole life dressing around a body I wasn't confident in and avoiding clothes I wished I could wear. Today, I have a waist and a booty! And while that may sound simple, the difference his work made in the way I see and carry myself is enormous.
The man is truly an artist.
I must not only commend Dr. Bazell on his excellent work as a surgeon, but also on his honesty and conscientiousness with me. More than a year later, I've had the opportunity to fully heal, live with my results, watch them settle, and see how his work has held up. I am still incredibly happy.
That is also why I waited to write this. I didn't want to review my results when they were brand new. I wanted to know what I would actually be living with long-term. And today I can confidently say that choosing Dr. Bazell made a huge difference in my life.
I hope to repay some of the honesty and care he showed me by being equally honest in this review.

Dr. Bazell and his team did an amazing job with my breast lift. I had interviewed five or six other plastic surgeons and was disheartened by the price and/or the transactional treatment. Dr. Bazell put me at ease, taking the time to sit with me and explain the procedure. The doctor’s office in South Barrington is beautiful with soothing classical music and you don’t feel like you are in a doctor’s office. The surgery went well and I got the results I wanted. So thankful to Dr. Bazell and his staff who were all very caring and supportive. I highly recommend Dr. Bazell to anyone who is considering plastic surgery.
Dr. Bazell is the most outstanding and amiable Doctor I have ever met! He is a true master of his craft with vast knowledge and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of his patients. I was fortunate enough to be his patient and I couldn't have imagined better care than what he provided. Speaking to him was just like having a reunion with a close friend.
