Well now that LA fitness owns this place, they need to do some improvements. They need to clean that pool and that means they got to drain it and get all the crap off of the bottom of it. They need to sort of like fix the equipment that they have in there. Some of that equipment doesn't work. Work some of the time period and the pool has to be cleaned. The men's locker room has some interesting features in it. The shower stalls are a nice brick work. My only complaint is they shouldn't have a television in there showing Fox News or msnbc. Im sorry, since mid june this place fell apart. Then LA fitness bought them and it continued to fall apart. More broken machines than fixed ones. Mens bathroom is so bad you need a vaccine to enter. Kids...kids everywhere. Groups, of 4 or more on their phones. Management and staff have clearly given up. Dont get me wrong some staff are great. Some are so stoned they dont know what day it is. Waaaaay too expensive for what you get. Tanning beds dont work 100% half your face gets tanned, or half the bulbs are out. It could be 1 star. Some staff members are worth while, just a couple. Better off going to planet pajamas down the street. I just cant recommend this place.
I just joined this past week. Locker rooms cleaned. Hot tub and pool are great. Machines are great. They could use more dumb bells that are of 10 and 5 pounds. They could also use 2.5 and 8 pound dumb bells. Helps for those needing to use the lighter side of weights. Great place. Anyone who is talking about needing to improve cleanliness perhaps didn't go there recently as it is clean.
