“I’ve been a loyal Unlimited Tan customer for over 10 years and finally decided to make the switch to LA Tan—and I’m honestly so glad I did. Since I only buy annual packages (which LA Tan only offers in January, FYI), the timing made sense.

I had grown really frustrated with how UT treats both their employees and long-time customers, so moving to LA Tan has been a refreshing change already. The pricing alone was a huge improvement—I paid significantly less for the same package I had last year at UT.

Right away, I noticed how welcoming and professional the staff is. Jordyn and Rachel are friendly, genuine, and super knowledgeable, which sadly hasn’t been my experience with the current staff at UT. I also love that LA Tan offers rewards points—it’s nice to feel appreciated as a loyal customer, especially when you spend as much at tanning salons as I do.

The beds themselves are noticeably better too. This might sound weird, but I actually felt like I was getting tan for once—and I’m not even burnt today! At UT, I’d often end up burnt with barely any lasting color. After using LA Tan’s beds, it’s pretty clear the bulbs they use are much better. I also learned that their red light beds are medical grade, which I’m really excited to try since I have fibromyalgia and a lot of arthritis.

Overall, the experience at LA Tan has been night and day so far. I highly recommend them!

**6/2/26: Editing to add to my review. I recently started using the medical grade red light beds. I've gone 3 times so far. I also have been using their new amazing hybrid beds that have the red light and tanning in one. I have a couple of injuries that were not healing due to the location...the top of my femur bone and I have a fractured rib from coughing so hard during my recent upper respiratory infection. I'm technically supposed to be on crutches for the bone bruise but it's too painful because of the rib fracture...so Jordyn, the manager at LA tan was telling me how they have REAL medical grade red light bulbs that reach down to your bone marrow. I've tried red light at other places like unlimited tan and color me bronze and was never impressed or really noticed a difference. At LA tan my skin alone was instantly softer after one session. I woke up the next day and felt better...like overall everything...I still am, it definitely seems to be helping my healing process which I'm so thankful for...I also suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritits, and suspected Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I am so excited that I finally think I found something that will help me feel better...I've been telling all my friends and my Physical therapist to send patients here, my mom has severe Rheumatoid arthritis and I've been begging her to try it out. You won't be sorry! It's expensive but so are all my doctors appointments. To top it all off, I'm a recovering heroin addict so I need alternative medicines...I can't use painkillers, I can't even really take NSAIDS anymore because of another medication I'm on so this red light therapy was a must for me to try. I'm so excited and looking forward to the results I'm going to see from this, I feel almost like a new woman and it's only been 3 sessions! LA Tan has the real deal medical red light beds, everyone else is not telling us the truth, I can vouch based on my experience here and at the other local tanning salons.“
