Dr. Maryam Syed is a wonderful and caring doctor. Yes, the feel of the Schaumburg office is off, but Dr. Syed's care more than makes up for it. Go see her in the much more modern Hanover Park office. She takes the needed time and very much cares about what's happening with me. I've been a patient with the practice for several years and have established a relationship I can bank on any time I need to.

I went in for a basic gynecologist appointment. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour. When I asked, they kept saying I was next but couldn't give an estimate because "each patient is different." Get to the room and they go over my medical hx. Didn't listen when I told them changes. Np comes in " I guess I am here to do your exam." Walks in and out of the room about 20x asking people questions on how to do this and that. No respect for privacy as I'm laying on the table with just a cloth covering me. Leaves me in the room over 20 minutes until I finally opened the door waved someone down asking what the hold up was. The doctors are fine but they did extra blood test without telling you that was not going to be part of annual physical and will not be covered by insurance. Got more than $400 bill later on for the blood work which I think it was overcharged . I called the billing department. As other reviewers said, the lady was rude and said they should get your permission first before they drew the blood. Of cause, they can't force me but they didn't ask if I was willing to do it and that will not be covered in advance. She said you may deal with the collection company later on and hung up my call. I will stay away from them unless you don't care about the bill.
