Choosing a company to transfer my 36 year old wedding VHS video as well as a 70 year old 8mm family home movie to digital, made me more than a little nervous. However, after meeting Mike, the owner of Chicago Transfer Services, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in the industry along with his easy going manner, quickly put my mind at ease. I was very pleased at his fast 2 day turnaround and fair pricing. The quality of the images were great considering their age. So much better than I expected! I couldn't be happier now that I am enjoying my family's precious memories. Thanks Mike! Highly recommend Chicago Transfer Services!

Chicago Transfer Services are the best! Impeccable service, quality, and perfection. Mike was able to retrieve memories from damaged 8mm reels for me and transfer a reel-to-reel tape I found in my attic. It turns out it was me at 3 years old and that completely blew me away. Our wedding video that Mike filmed in 1981 was re/edited and preserved on flash drive, every bit of this work is priceless. Mike's vast knowledge, expertise, and outstanding work come from decades of experience. He has preserved a lifetime of memories and joy for me and my family, and for that we are truly grateful. Fast, reliable, and professional service, thank you, Mike, and thank you to Chicago… read full review

Wonderful service and very knowledgeable experts to retrieve precious old memories!
I had six Hi-8 eight tapes from about 20 years old, which iMemories could not transfer to digital format and they had deemed it not playable (CNP). When I took it to Mike, he was able to recover four of them immediately and the other two he persisted and also discovered that a couple of them were with the PAL formats so at the end he did not give up and we were able to retrieve all the six tapes which had precious memories from my kids childhood. In addition two tapes had the reels spooled out due to the bad player and one was stuck inside the recorder which he was also able to recover.
