“This is truly my pups home away from home! Laura and her home are my two dogs’ favorite place to vacation. My 10 yo mix breed dog gets the special attention he needs as an old man and my 2 yo lab loves socializing with new friends. The fact that they get to sleep on the couch like at home, roam the backyard, and have a dog lover with them at all times, including overnight, makes this mom’s heart rest easier when I can’t be with my pups. Thanks Laura for all the love and comforts of home for Trevor and Kona!“

“All that comes to mind is that ChicagoLand Dog Training (and therefore Lauren and Nick) are nothing short of absolutely wonderful, both in dog training and being awesome people to work with! We have a very energetic Australian shepherd/cattle dog/mutt, Scarlet, that used to be sometimes overly adoring, enthusiastic, and just couldn't help herself when wanting to express her excitement or herd, well, everything. The timing worked out perfectly and while we were away on a trip Scarlet stayed in the brand new facility for the two week board and train. From the meet and greet onward, you could tell that she would be in incredibly good hands and receive great care. Lauren and Nick were very attentive in noting what we wanted to particularly address in addition to the general curriculum - and with a toddler and newborn, it was greatly appreciated. Now Scarlet can hold her place for over a half hour while the post-dinner play session is happening; she went from athletically meeting people at the door (one time her tongue got in a visitors mouth she jumped so high to greet them...whoops) to having four paws on the floor (and we know how to effectively correct her if she still tries to hop up) and she is a stellar walker next to a stroller nonetheless. The last thing I will note is that you are trained as the owner as well with a private session at pick-up, which they record the important parts of for you so you can share with family members etc. I didn't realize how important this was until we had the session, and when we came back for our final follow-up private about a month later Scarlet did really well and was able to see her best friends Nick and Lauren again. We will be back whenever we need to board Scarlet and can. not. recommend. them. enough!“

“My kids (8 and 10) participated in the 4 day horse camp that was 4 hours each day this summer and they absolutely loved it!Mrs Nancy is so good with the kids and all the girls helping out were so engaged and friendly! The kids learned all about the horses, such as how to take care of them and grooming. They were leading them around the arena, riding and even did crafts. The second day the kids jumped out of the car and I didn't even get a hug goodbye before they were off and engaged in the game in the arena. I am so grateful they were able to have this experience. All the horses in the camp were absolutely wonderful and perfect for the kids who are still beginners.Great job Shorewood acres!“

“I have loved and cared for multiple animals over the years, unfortunately, I have become skeptical of veterinarians. Being new to the community, I was referred to Mundelein Animal Hospital. The staff were kind, professional and accommodating. The waiting room and examining rooms were clean, and their costs were appropriately reasonable. My 13-year old cat, Crosby, was scheduled with Dr Gretchen Hageman. I was impressed with her thorough examination of Crosby, but respected the time she took to explain Crosby’s treatment options. Mundelein Animal Hospital provides impeccable care to animals, but holistically treats the family. I am no longer a skeptic. I would highly recommend Mundelein Animal Hospital.“

“I don't typically take the time to write reviews but Doggy Days' staff and especially Stephanie deserve a Huge Thanks and Recognition for their dedication in taking care of my dog...Juno. My husband and I last minute had took a flight nearly 1/2 half way across the world to attend an unexpected death in the family. Stephanie was so gracious to accept a last minute (literally hours) before we had to leave for the airport to take care of our 5 year old tea cup Shih Tzu who has a severe case of Encephalitis. Stephanie and the staff ensured Juno received round the clock care to administer her medications every 6 to 8 hours starting at 7a.m., 8a.m., 3p.m., 7p.m, 8p.m. to 11p.m. There are a lot of medications Juno takes daily to control her brain swelling and seizures. Stephanie and the staff were in constant contact with me concerning the care for Juno via Facebook messenger and they welcomed calls from my brother who lived locally to check up on Juno. We are so thankful Doggy Days was able to accommodate the medical care Juno needed. This was the first time Juno has ever had to be boarded for nearly 11 days. We highly recommend Doggy Days as a premier facility and will certainly leverage their services again. Thank you Doggy Days for making this experience for Juno a memorable one.“

“Had to leave town on short notice, My little pug mix Jasper had never stayed at a kennel and a friend told me about Agape Dog Care, dog care at the owners home, so Jasper got to spend his time with people, not in a cage, and he loved playtime in the large fenced in yard,“

“Dr. Miller, Shelby, Hannah, and Nicole lead with friendliness and empathy. They are clearly as invested in their field as they are in their patients. They helped me get my senior cats up-to-date after I inherited them from a family member. Dr. Miller and team explain what they are doing, what the best course of action is, and answer my questions.Every part of the service has been given careful attention. Even the office is set up for both cats for cat people — calm and comfortable.Highly recommended.“

“This kennel was great. Friendly staff and nice large outdoor area for dogs to play. But unfortunately the Grayslake facility closed in October. Evidently permanently so. Nobody seems to know why but c'est La vie“

“Dr Garvey is a very good veteran. I trust her with all 3 of my pets. She's knowledgeable and kind. She called me the next day with lab updates and advice on how to handle the results. I'd highly recommend her.“
