Laura with Home Away From Home is simply the best! Our dog Remy had a great time during his weeklong vacation playing with all the other dogs and running around in Laura’s big yard. We got texts and photos throughout the week. The dogs are treated like a part of her family. We will definitely use Home Away From Home in the future!
Our experience with Home Away From Home has been horrible. Told several times that dog will eat food so keep away. Instead, not watching our dog properly it ate bag dog food. Got violently sick with diarrhea and vomiting. Another dog developed an ear infection-went unnoticed and 700 vet bill later. Our puppy had her nail cut so badly it was bleeding when I picked him up. Kept bleeding. Backseat of car looked like a murder seen. After 4 days of not hearing from her as to how dogs were she gave update-nothing about dog getting into food and getting violently sick, possible ear infection or cut nail. Will never use again. Beware! Not accredited with BBB. Not licensed or bonded. Writes check to herself instead of to Home Away. Horrible experience we’ve ever had!
Laura was great! She took our 1 year old black lab in on very short notice. He had a great time. We will be using her in the future. I like that the dogs get to run around the back yard and are not stuck in a little room all day.
