If I could give lower than one star I would. The nail technician absolutely destroyed my nails by filing them down to the nail, not just the gloss topcoat from the gel nail polish. Not only that, she scraped my cuticles three times with a super abrasive emery board and I said OUCH three times. She said “you’re just very sensitive.” I am not… I’ve never had a painful experience with any other nail technician. I asked if they use a Dremel type tool and she said no because they are too abrasive. I should’ve gotten out of the chair and left at that moment. I stopped the manicure after she removed the nail polish and said that we were done. I had to go home and cut off all my fingernails because she filed them so thin they were like paper. It will take at least six months for my nails to recover from one visit to Luxe! I would avoid this place like the plague. They could offer 10 free manicures and I still would never go back there!

I love Luxé Nail Bar in Rockford! Jessica has been doing a buildable gel on my nails that has helped them become stronger over time, and she is a very talented artist always willing to do any design I present to her. The salon is kept exceptionally clean, unlike many others I’ve been in, and that gives me confidence going in that I’m well cared for. I highly recommend Luxè for your next mani/pedi.

I have been going to Jessica for years before I moved out of Rockford. She is great!!! She’s helped strengthen and rebuilt my natural nails after years of acrylics. She introduced me to builder gel and gelx to rebuild my nails. I’m finally back to no chip since my natural nails are stronger. I highly recommend going to her for simple or complex designs. She is super talented. I can show her an image of any nail art and she makes it work, even on short natural nails. Becca the owner is wonderful! She is super friendly and provides a luxé experience every time I visit.
