About Rock Island Fitness & Activity Center (RIFAC)
Rock Island Fitness & Activity Center (RIFAC) is a conveniently located fitness center with a nice pool featuring lap lanes, a deep end, and a relaxation area. The facility also has a large hot tub with a calming view, a simple walking track, and more. The swim lessons, particularly the level one sessions, are praised for having patient and skilled instructors who create a fun learning environment.
Very convenient location. Never too crowded. Nice pool with lanes for laps, deep end, do your own thing area. Nice very large hot tub area with relaxing view. Simple track for walking. Plenty more things I don't use. Minus 1 star for the occasional lifeguard personal music choices. Maybe I'm getting old but if the radio ain't playing it, the swimmers ain't likely into it. I like Primus and Frank Zappa, but I won't assume anyone else does at a pool. Extrapolate from there and you'll be fine.

We are here for the level one swim lessons and the instructors are amazing! This is the second session that we have done. The instructors are patient and always have our boys smiling and laughing. They are great at teaching all beginning forms.

Excellent facility, excellent staff. Went here for the three years I lived there and loved every visit. This is the best--I just wish I could have taken the pool with me when I left.
