Yong-In Lions Martial Arts is an excellent school with a great overall atmosphere. The instructor, Master Yoon, gives full attention to each student and helps them develop their skills. The school offers classes in Taekwondo, which emphasizes strikes, and Hapkido, a hybrid of grappling, strikes, and weapons. It is highly recommended for everyone, from beginners to experienced martial artists. Both kids and adults can find suitable classes available.
My son has special needs and has been attending this center for over four months. The instructor is experienced and, more importantly, patient, and clearly committed to each student's progress — he never rushes and makes sure every child moves at a pace that works for them. We've seen real improvement, and my son genuinely looks forward to his classes.
I'd recommend this place to everyone, and especially to children who need extra attention or more time to learn.
Master Yoon has an impressive background and is a very attentive, skilled instructor. He notices every small detail and corrects students’ postures with a sharp eye, ensuring everyone trains at their own pace. My son enjoys coming here for his Taekowndo, and I even decided to join the adult Hapkido class myself. It is more challenging than Pilates I used to do, but it has helped improve my overall fitness and even lowered my physical body age! (Measured with a machine at my Dr office :P)
