“Got a dress taken in and hemmed here just because they were on the way I was going and open. It’s perfect!

Wish I had taken a before picture so I could show the transformation. The dress is a thin “silky” polyester material with no lining from Banana Republic. It was supposed to be semi-fitted but was actually really frumpy somehow and flared out halfway down the thighs, making my hips look HUGE. Now it fits like it looks on the website models.

I’m not sure what a good price for alterations is, but this seemed expensive at first. After getting it back, I think it was worth it.“

The zipper was from under the arm to the top of the hip on this dress (a lot of work), and Gloria gave me a reasonable price. The work is great, too.
