Words cannot express how grateful our family is for Mike and the Kerry Funeral Home. All the staff, especially Joyce, were extremely patient and kind. Mike was with us every step of the way, caring so gently for our mom, Mary. The Funeral home is lovely and was perfect for our large family. The flowers were amazing and every small detail was well taken care of by Mike and his staff. Mike guided our family with every decision regarding the wake and funeral with great patience and was so approachable. We felt so comfortable throughout this difficult time. He took care of everything we asked with a true concern. Most importantly, everyone commented on how beautiful our Mom looked. On top of all the other roles Mike plays, we found out he is the mortuary cosmetologist who took the time to make our Mom's physical appearance just as everyone remembered. Mike and his team have done a fantastic job with their services. I really appreciated that during the initial meeting he didn’t try to upsell us on stuff (casket, flowers, etc.). Obviously this was a difficult time for my family and he was extremely helpful navigating everything.
The way the rooms are set up are great for traditional sitting on one side and another section with round tables that allow people to talk and visit. They also have two sets of fridges/cabinets in the kitchen, as there was another service the same day, and it made it easy to separate whose family brought what.
