In fact if he's getting that as an average in the Chicago area, that's actually a decent output. Getting a reasonable ROI for solar is very difficult in Illinois for a dozen + reasons and you can't blame the installer if you can't figure that part out. Tom was straightforward and frank with setting project expectations. He was always honest and accurate with his quotes and billing and saved me over $5000+ compared to other quotes on the project. He and his guys have done two relatively major electrical projects in the house since the solar install and my wife and I have been happy with his work.Tom's a local small business man and can only be in so many places at once. 4.5 stars for some (mostly understandable) project lag, and very minor work area clean up annoyances by some of his workers.“
