About Illinois Back Institute
Illinois Back Institute is a multidisciplinary physical therapy practice specializing in back pain relief. They offer a unique protocol called Functional Disc Rehydration, which aims to reverse conditions like sciatica, stenosis, herniated discs, bulging discs, and degenerative disc disease without surgery or medication. Patients report significant pain reduction and improvement in mobility after attending IBI. The staff is consistently described as friendly, welcoming, and kind, creating a wonderful environment for healing. The team is praised for their expertise, compassion, and commitment to helping patients achieve their recovery goals. Many patients have shared experiences of overcoming chronic back pain, with therapists focusing on relieving pain and enhancing mobility. Many who tried other methods before arriving at IBI, such as injections or traditional physical therapy, found IBI's specialized approach and comprehensive care to be more effective. The machines and exercise regimens at IBI have helped many heal from severe back and neck pain caused by conditions like herniated discs. Patients express gratitude for the care they received, celebrating their progress and recommending IBI to others facing similar challenges.
In searching for a non-surgical treatment for herniated disks, Illinois Back Institute was recommended by an acquaintance. I have found the program to be a hopeful resource. The staff is caring and attentive, from the administrative and clerical staff to the professional and clinical staff. They help to make the time in therapy a pleasant and upbeat experience with the acknowledgement that you are always under their watchful eyes. Kudos to all of the staff - But especially to Anthony and Brianna (who are awesome) and Karen, Kristin, and Allison.
I have been coming here for a couple months now and little by little I am recovering from my injury. The people here are amazing and never push you to do more then what you can. I highly recommend this facility for any type of pain you may have as they have several different types of equipment to help you. They also have a chiropractor on site for the days you need readjustments. 10/10
I was told to have surgery prior to meetingDr Jeff. I had a C3 and C4 disk compression and my lumbar as well. The surgery was terrifying and very risky with a laundry list of possible side effect and complications (vocal cord/ voice change, possible infection and other typical things when entering from the neck to work on the back). I opted to follow the protocol at IL back institute as a conservative measure instead of a fusion. I was so happy and satisfied that I used logic to approach my decision.
