I have BMW 740i 2019 80000 miles. I took it to the dealership for routine oil change. They pointed 10 different things wrong, when there is no fault notification, and gave me repair estimate of over 14000$. I denied and left. I miss Roy and Walter! I was using them when I lived in Oak Park from 2011-2022. They were highly recommended by friends who lived in OP when I moved there. They were always honest, always to the point, and their work was amazing. We all need a good mechanic, and Asian Domestic Authority were them for me. They took care of my general maintenance i.e. tune ups, did my brakes, and the little things that popped up on my 2004 Sentra.
I got an oil change at Meineke in Oak Park and they told me my brake pads were at 1mm and needed to be replaced right away, about $1k. I took it to Asian Domestic for new brakes and he told me they are at 6mm with thousands more miles on them and he wouldn’t put new parts on when my existing parts are still good. You can bet I’ll be back when I do need brakes or any other service he offers.
