“Oakwood refinished the hardwood through our first floor and the result is exactly what we hoped for. the floors were badly scratched and had that dull worn look especially in the high traffic spots. now theyre smooth and glossy with this deep even color that makes the rooms feel bigger somehow. i picked a medium brown stain and it turned out perfect, matches the trim really well. when i was calling around Oak Brook for quotes theirs was reasonable and the estimator actually knew what he was talking about. the sanding took a day, then a few coats after that. dust stayed down better than i thought it would be, barely had to clean up. a few boards near the patio door were damaged and they repaired those so you cant tell at all. the whole floor looks like one continuous piece now. old worn wood turned into something i actually want people to see when they come over“

“I am extremely happy with the work Nash Hardwood Flooring did on my deck. It had a lot of peeling stain, weathered boards, and several areas that needed repair. Much of the wear was likely caused by the previous owner power washing the deck and applying stain before the wood had fully dried. The finish had failed in many areas, leaving the deck looking very worn.

What impressed me most was the care and attention to detail that went into the restoration process. Rather than relying on aggressive pressure washing, he sanded the entire deck properly, completed the necessary repairs, and applied a beautiful, uniform finish. I believe this approach will result in a longer-lasting finish and better protection for the wood over time.

“The hardwood on our stairs had deep gouges and the finish was completely worn off on the high-traffic treads. It looked bad and felt rough underfoot. CM'S Wood Stairs sanded all the treads and risers down and applied a fresh finish that brought the wood back to life. The gouges are gone and the surface is smooth again. They also tightened up the railing posts while they were working since a couple had some give to them. The staircase feels sturdy and looks consistent from top to bottom now, which is a nice change.“
