“Oakwood refinished the hardwood through our first floor and the result is exactly what we hoped for. the floors were badly scratched and had that dull worn look especially in the high traffic spots. now theyre smooth and glossy with this deep even color that makes the rooms feel bigger somehow. i picked a medium brown stain and it turned out perfect, matches the trim really well. when i was calling around Oak Brook for quotes theirs was reasonable and the estimator actually knew what he was talking about. the sanding took a day, then a few coats after that. dust stayed down better than i thought it would be, barely had to clean up. a few boards near the patio door were damaged and they repaired those so you cant tell at all. the whole floor looks like one continuous piece now. old worn wood turned into something i actually want people to see when they come over”
