It started our fine, the the braider ( I won't mention her name), had a client come in that was getting a style that cost more , and she stopped braiding my hair and just sewed the rest it was tacky and horrible. And they always ask for a picture of the style, but does something totally different. There are a couple of decent braiders there, but they're always busy. This is the North Riverside location.

My braids are beautiful. However , when you come to this salon please be prepared for an extremely long day. This means be advised that you must separate your own braiding hair and also that the braiders will take 20-30 minute breaks randomly. Also it does not help that they will literally stop in the middle of you getting your hair done and say “Pay” the issue is that they say it in such a demanding and disrespectful tone. it doesn’t help that I got a knotless bob and she didn’t even roll my ends in the back and then not only that she braided my hair to long and I wanted curls on the ends of my braids so she curled my ends and then proceeded to cut my hair... read full review

Thankfully I didn't rely on the negative reviews in making my decision to get my hair done. My braider was Sherri and I got some Goddess braids... I'm tender headed but she had a lots of patience with me and talked me through the entire process. She nailed the style!
Every stylist I had an interaction with was nice. As the stylists completed their clients, they immediately cleaned up the excess hair from the floor.
