Steve cut down the component storage section and made us a free standing media cabinet. Seamlessly fixed the laminate flooring and walls and added electric for a wall-mounted TV. Sean visited our home in December of ‘24, and it was clear he had expertise around how a good basement ought to be finished AND he had a good ear for listening to what our desires were. His quote was a clear reflection of both: recommendations for certain construction elements (such as flooring and ceiling types), and inclusion of our preferences (for instance, we wanted to double up on the electrical circuits for a particular wall). And best of all, his price was competitive.

Sean quoted us 7-8 weeks for construction, and by golly they did it in 7 weeks. He employed in-house staff as well as sub-contractors (for things like electrical and drywall), and our experiences with everyone were amazing. It’s clear that Sean has cultivated a great network of subs and also employs some really good folks who have attention to detail and take pride in their work.

Sean was also just very communicative the whole time. He gave regular updates on progress and left nothing to the imagination. This invited opportunities to make tweaks along the way, which was wonderful!

“Mike and Team put a portico on our flat front brick home. He designed it, after listening to our wants and needs. “We worked with Jon on designing new cabinets for our tricky kitchen layout. He was so patient and provided thoughtful insight through multiple revisions. The store carries a wide range of cabinets from standard to designer/custom. Solid plywood and hardwood construction, no MDF that degrades when wet. We designed a modern kitchen with shaker cabinets- white uppers and espresso lowers. Jon personally delivered our cabinets. We are currently in the process of installing them. So far so good! We also got quartz countertops through Cabinetry Direct which will be cut/installed after cabinets. Will try to remember and post a before/after pic once we have it all together!“
