“I’ll start this review off by saying we originally signed a contract with Michael over at Top Notch Restoration.

We were just months out from the birth of our second child and had to adhere to a strict timeline. After promises and “yes, no problems” and literally weeks of planning and design, Michael pulled the rug out from under us and communicated that he could no longer adhere to our hard deadline, instead suggesting the work would not be completed for two months after our hard deadline.

Of course we were frustrated and terminated the agreement and then contacted Sean, in hopes that he would be able to work with us.

In short, Sean swooped in and saved the day. We were thoroughly impressed by his professionalism, fair prices, and commitment to quality of work — above all else.

His team was courteous and left an impression on us. Jose and Matt were an amazing compliment to Sean’s expertise.

We could not be happier with our new high-end finished basement.

You will see critiques about communication and organization in other reviews. In our experience, there’s some truth to those and Construction Specialties, LLC would absolutely benefit from a dedicated project manager.

That said, Sean has gone out of his way at every turn to be honest, add value, and do what’s right. He has integrity.

She works with top quality vendors who supported our countertop replacement and backsplash installation as well, which was wonderful to be able to get it all done at once. “While I have not personally used Liam Brex for a kitchen or bath remodel, their brick and mortar speaks for itself. I've been to this showroom space twice now for a couple different cooking classes -- once for a New Orleans dinner pairing with Chef Che and another time for an Irish Soda bread baking moms-night-out with Ask Aunt V. The front of the show room boasts a beautiful island, kitchen cabinets, and an oven range to die for. It's a great spot for mingling and enjoying examples of what Liam Brex has to offer. In the back is another kitchen set up with yet another gorgeous island, oven range, built in drawers, and surprise refrigerators. I loved the wine cellar cabinet and fridge space in the island! I have to say, it's pretty genius to utilize their space after hours for local events. Not only is it the perfect place for gathering , cooking, or baking, but a wonderful opportunity for Liam Brex to introduce their work. I've lived in Naperville most of my life and had no idea this was here despite them being founded back in 2007. I know down the line a kitchen and bath remodel will be in our future, so I will for sure be keeping this business in mind for guidance.“

“We worked with Jon on designing new cabinets for our tricky kitchen layout. He was so patient and provided thoughtful insight through multiple revisions. The store carries a wide range of cabinets from standard to designer/custom. Solid plywood and hardwood construction, no MDF that degrades when wet. We designed a modern kitchen with shaker cabinets- white uppers and espresso lowers. Jon personally delivered our cabinets. We are currently in the process of installing them. So far so good! We also got quartz countertops through Cabinetry Direct which will be cut/installed after cabinets. Will try to remember and post a before/after pic once we have it all together!“
