We worked with DJK Home Builders on a full remodel of an older, dated home, and overall, it was a very positive experience. We moved to the US from the UK so the whole process was pretty unfamiliar for us.
From the outset, the team brought strong ideas on design, layout, and how to best use the space. They really helped us reimagine what the home could be. We had an amazing time building our home with DJK's team. Shannon, Caitlyn, Jack, & Miles where all great as they lead us through each step and even after completion.
Shannon was wonderful as we started our journey, planning out things from a high level. Dan was personally involved as we designed the build. Caitlyn walked us through the long haul of the entire selection process and we had a lot of questions. Shoutout to Jack and Miles who helped with onsite related needs, questions back to us from the crew, and was able to move things around in order to expedite the build time. We recently built our home with DJK, and overall, it was a very positive experience. The quality of the work is strong, and the team was professional and committed throughout the process. That said, I did feel that some of the pricing on upgrades ran a bit higher than expected, and like with any large build, certain trades contacts were stronger than others.
The standout of the entire experience was our project manager, Andy. He was truly fantastic—responsive, proactive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things were done right.
