Solely making this statement for my father since he’s not tech savvy. This was someone who cut his hair for years even as I was a child, but the way my father was treated after being a LONG time customer is very strange. His main concern was he felt less of any other customers that were their getting their hair done because he would have to wait for an hour or hours until he got his hair cut and he would be on time. Also another disrespectful concern I just was told recently this happened during the pandemic that he was giving him a hard time because he missed an appointment. I went to Dwight in March 2021 for honey colored highlights. When I went to the address his assistant gave me, I quickly found out that this was his private residence and not a salon. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt because we were in the middle of a pandemic. When I scheduled the appointment for 3pm, I let his assistant know I had a hard stop at 6, and I was ensured 3 hours would be plenty of time. I had an appointment for 3pm, and he did not come down to the lobby to get me for my appointment until 350pm. I ended up not being out until after 7pm, and that was only because I told him I had to leave at that exact moment. He still wasn't done, and I walked out with streaky, inconsistent highlights and in tears with soaking wet hair. I decided to give him a chance to correct the highlights two weeks later and things got even worse. While they weren't streaky anymore, the color was completely inconsistent. There were patches of honey, reddish, orange, and platinum highlights in my hair. Even without all of that, I came for my appointment at 330pm, wasn't brought up until after 4pm, and didn't leave until almost midnight. No apologies, nothing. I think it's safe to say I'll never return to Dwight. If you have curly hair and are looking to get any kind of color/highlights, I'd definitely go somewhere else. I was luckily able to find a stylist who was able to correct what he did to my hair.
