Salon Silk Chicago

I booked a detox, trim, and silk press at Salon Silk. Ranee was friendly, and made me feel welcome in her salon and offered drinks/snacks(as it was my first time booking a service with Salon Silk). Communication was seamless- from the appointment reminders to directions directly to Ranee’s salon. Ranee was also transparent about the health of my hair and offered tips as to how to keep my hair healthy. Additionally, Ranee fixed my bangs which I didn’t feel the most confident in before seeing her. Amazing job! My hair was super damaged, Ranee took her time to analyze my hair and brought it back to life. She educated me about my hair and gave me tips to maintain my hair between appointments. She infuses essential oils throughout the conditioning process and went out of her to make it a spa like experience.

Renee keeps my hair healthy every time I take a seat in her chair. My hair always feels moisturized and healthy when I leave her shop. I also use products from her hair line (Intentions Hair Care) and I have seen significant results in my hair growth. I’ve been going to her for 13 years and have never gotten a better silk press from any other stylist in Lake County.
