I was referred to a specialist in Rock Island, but the day of my appointment, the power went out, and my appointment had to be rescheduled. “I was very disappointed that I was not a candidate for LASIK vision correction, but Dr. Borisuth was determined to help make my vision dreams come true! He introduced me to the PanOptix Lens. He stated it was pretty new, but it is just like cataract surgery, but instead of a clear lens it will correct all distances for me as I was nearsighted and at the age of just needing bifocals. I trusted the advice of my regular optometrist, Dr. Setchel, as she has always been up front and honest with me about my vision concerns. She said she would trust Dr. Borisuth with her family…so I went ahead with the procedure. I had my first lens done on Feb. 18, 2020, and the second 10 days later. The surgery was a piece of cake and recovery a breeze!
