Evolve in McHenry was recommended by my neighbor, and I saw some videos on FaceBook. Dr. Craig had a video on “living with a chiropractor” that was not only funny, but also informative, yet helpful in creating healthy habits to perform daily. For me personally, it is just taking that first step going to ANY doctor to feel better. I usually feel helpless. It was so easy, I clicked on to set up an appointment on the FaceBook Ad and I had an evaluation with Dr. Jeff a few days later. (I have NO computer skills, so if I can do this… anyone can!) When I went in, I was desperate. Not only do I suffer from neck, back, and hip pain, I was struggling to walk. I experienced bad headaches, and suffer from Long Term Covid symptoms of exhaustion and fatigue. Basically, I’m a blob and a hot mess. Also, I am a youth football coach, and it was becoming impossible for me to perform my coaching duties without getting any relief. I was helpless because I couldn’t stand for more than a few minutes without having to sit. I’m also a Chicago Bears Season Ticket Holder (and Blackhawks) and was finding that tailgating for several hours (I’m the Chef) was extremely difficult; but walking to Soldier Field due to the long distance from the parking lots to the stadium were growing impossible for me. I needed help! Dr. Jeff put together a plan for me. He carefully explained what they could do to get me relief, but also to work towards long term goals. I’m “ALL IN!” The changes in my body have been dramatic. Some of the tasks when I started were nearly impossible for me to do. I had no range of motion in my neck and standing and walking were agonizing. But encouragement from all the girls on Staff, and both Dr. Jeff & Dr. Craig’s adjustments have been life changing for me. I walk with much more confidence and pace. The key word here, is that I can “walk”. My headaches have been dramatically improved. Chronic fatigue, or what I call my “Covid naps” have declined, and the exhaustion symptoms diminished. It is hard to describe to anyone what I go through on a daily basis, and I get very emotional when I talk about how much better I feel and look. I do the work! I work extremely hard per their guidance, and it shows. The office is so friendly, and fun! Laughter is constant and abundant. They all make you feel so welcome when you are there. So refreshing, and I look forward to going to my appointments. I’m so excited to see how I feel when I complete my journey which I’ve just begun only a few weeks ago, and look forward to develop my next steps. They got me back on the gridiron where I love to be. Fantastic place to go if your curious as to how your back is looking or even your kids. Dr. Craig is amazing at what he does, he takes the time to explain things to overly worried mommas, he does the necessary test and images to see what service would be best for you, then he gets rockin! You can totally tell Dr. Craig loves what he does and puts his all into his work! His other staff members are also a delight and VERY knowledgeable in their field! I highly recommend Evolve Chiropractic!
Ive seen 2 chiropractors in the past, this was the 1st that did xrays to see what they're TRULY treating. I have been there twice now, and truly have had wonderful experiences with the entire staff. they're all so kind and welcoming! So very happy to continue this journey to feel better!
