Another review about horrible billing. I never once received a bill from them other than a text. I am absolutely not paying a text message. Today I started getting calls from a collection company. I’ll pay my bill if you send me one!

Extremely disappointed with the billing practices of Rockford Anesthesiologists Assoc. I was referred to collections for an alleged unpaid balance even though I never received a paper bil or any formal mailed notice. The only communication I received was via text messages, which I did not respond to because I receive countless spam texts daily. Expecting patients to pay a medical bill based solely on a text message is unreasonable and unprofessional. Medical billing should follow standard practices, including mailed statements. Sending patients to collections without ensuring they actually received a bill is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect and accountability....read full review

It looks like I'm not the one to complain about the crappy practices this group goes about collecting payment. I received a hand full of text messages, didnt have an account number. Never received anything in the mail until I was sent a letter from a collection agency. I called the office and get no apologies or explanation and was told I had to make my payment to the collection agency. Very shady shit, send out a billing statement so the patient has the information in front of them before to you the balance to collections!!!!
