“This service from Hawthorne is so over the top I had to post a review. They offer free pickup and delivery which is awesome. We have to get clothes turned around quickly because of a job where my husband travels. Always accommodate the quick turnarounds with a smile. A few weeks ago, my husband forgot to pick up a suit he needed for the next day and they were closed. “Carla and her team did a phenomenal job! I was struggling to find a cleaning service during a holiday weekend, and most places were scheduled so far out. She replied immediately after reaching out and worked with us to find a good time. We had them do a deep clean, and they paid attention to every corner, and before leaving, made sure to ask if we were satisfied with their service. This is not to say anything of Carla's kindness and congeniality as a human being. She truly believes in serving her clients not just as customers but as human beings. Wouldn't go to anyone else after this experience.“

“I've only used the cleaning services (I always recommend people go to a dedicated tailor for significant alterations), but I find this place friendly and reliable. I really like the way my clothes look and feel when cleaned here - no smell, nice to the touch, not harshly and heavily pressed in the way that wears out your shirts. I buy quality clothes, dress sharp most days, and am a stickler for details. It may not be the cheapest, but it's environmentally friendly and your fine clothes will be treated gently and come out looking great. I like the location so I haven't felt the need to go elsewhere.“

I was in town for a wedding and the owner worked with me to get my dresses ready in time (24 hours after drop-off).I included a photo of the owner adding extra plastic to the bottom of my very long dress. It was raining and I was worried about it getting dirty. He was happy to fix all of my concerns from start to finish.“

They also do great alteration work - we've used them for suits, pants, and more and have always been very happy with the results.“
“J&K Cleaners in Naperville did a wonderful job cleaning my three braided wool rugs. All three rugs were rather dusty and dirty and I was not sure I was going to keep them. But, after getting them dry-cleaned at J & K they looked just like new. I also thought the price was reasonable. I paid $107 (includes taxes) for a 5 x 8, 3 x 5 and 2-1/4 x 4 rugs. It took maybe a month or so to get them cleaned but the wait was worth it. The very nice woman at the counter gave me the date when they'd be done and she was exactly right. She also helped me get the rugs into the store and also out when I picked them up. I am recommending this cleaning service to my friends and family.“

“I was happy with the dry cleaning and the careful way they hang the clothes however I had a suit jacket with wrinkles remaining on the front. The ladies are very nice and they have lots of work so I said nothing. My guess is that this probably doesn't happen often. I had many items dry cleaned and had issues with only one garment. I'll be back there for sure.“
