Dr. Dowell was amazing & very thorough will my 14 year olds exam. We also received excellent service by everyone including great help with ordering glasses. Everyone is incredibly friendly & helpful!!

Dr. Dowell gets 5/5 stars. I’ve never had an optometrist so comprehensive and focused on patient education. I will definitely be back for exams for him!Also if COVID restrictions matter to you, everyone is very compliant with masking and keeping patients masked. This is not a huge priority for me but I thought worth mentioning.The rest of the staff is the reason for 4 stars. No huge complaints but when checking in the receptionist was confused about why I was there when I said I was a “new patient.” It was kind of a “why are you here” attitude. After reading all the wonderful reviews I thought I would give this place a try, went in for an appointment with grandma who was seen by Dr. Dowell. He was great, sweet and super patient with my grandmother. However, there is one lady at the front is clearly racist. After initially checking in with her I moved on to the lady next to her and she was great help. After this appointment my husband went in alone for his annual eye exam and was told he did not have an appt, which they were later able to find but again he was seen by the racist lady at the front.
