The customer service is very good. Dental staff is knowledgeable and answer any questions asked. State of the art equipment, office is clean. They make the patient very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a very disappointing experience at Lake County Family Dental Care.
I informed the office in advance that my daughter is autistic. Despite this, when we arrived, the doctor was unable to examine her and no proper checkup or treatment was completed.
The doctor did not appear prepared to handle a child patient. There was no effective attempt to build rapport, explain the process, or adapt the approach to help my child feel comfortable. Time was spent in the room, but no examination was actually done.
When I questioned the charge, I was told we were billed because the appointment time was booked and the doctor “spent time” with my daughter — even though no care was provided. If a practice is not prepared to examine a child, this should be clearly communicated before scheduling the appointment.
Charging families under these circumstances feels unfair and stressful. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this practice to families with children.

From the moment I walked into the building I could feel the respect this establishment has for its patients and their needs. Being a new patient they did a thorough exam to get a base and explained everything they were doing and why. After my cleaning they discussed my needs and gave me time to decide how I wanted to go forward. It was nice to get pricing along with options so there were no surprises. It was a most relaxed setting I feel I ever had going to a Dentist office.
