I’d love to leave a review based on the quality of care, but unfortunately they were unable to provide that despite us arriving prior to their listed close time. We believe my son broke his finger and were attempting to seek care, but they actually close to patients at 5:45 despite the website listing 6 pm. We also attempted to call prior to going, but they stop taking calls at 5. This is obviously and extremely poorly run business with no empathy even for children.

Reserved a time, showed up early, excellent ppo insurance and fully covered, my GP referred me to them. I'm in lots of pain, possible cracked rib. Because it wasn't a possible surgery case, the TWO doctors there wouldn't see me. No x-ray, no meds or care instructions. It doesn't matter if you are in pain, if they can't cut or poke it and bill insurance for that, you are out of luck. They told me to go to another urgent care. I'm floored - terrible, terrible money grubbing people.

I checked in at 2:30pm and still in the waiting area one hour later, when I asked about when I was going to be seen the young lady at front desk said I am next, 5 people have been called ahead of me!

I found IBJI after a quick search when I hurt my hand. I was surprised first by how many locations they have meaning I found a convenient location for me. I hurt my hand in the evening and by 630am I was able to get an appointment at 830am. I got there at 8am per instructions as a new patient. Juanita greeted me warmly and helped me get checked in. She gave me a Microsoft Surface tablet to go through intake history since it was too hard to write. Super nice touch for patients. I was called back by a pleasant young woman who I think was named Jada if I heard correctly. Two minutes later Dr. Angelo Savino came in, did a thorough examination of my hand and wrist then sent me for x-rays. That process was quick and efficient too. The x-ray technician took me back to the exam room where I was met by Dr. Savino in about five minutes. He gave me the confirmation that I caught a nasty case of carpal tunnel syndrome. He sent in a prescription for Prednisone and sent me into a room to be fitted for a brace. One hour and ten minutes after walking in, I was leaving feeling well cared for by a professional and efficient team that really seems to care for their patients well being and also considers that patients have other things to do with their day than sit around waiting for a doctor. I'm thoroughly impressed with my first encounter with a health care facility in Illinois. Well done IBJI. You have a big new fan.

I sustained a fall and had ongoing severe pain and extreme bruising to my left leg. After check in I was told that I had to make an appointment with the IBJI MD that evaluated my left knee more than 8 months ago. They said it would be “conflict of interest “ if any other MD were to evaluate me.That MD had no upcoming available appointments. So much for acute care treatment……..

Best experience we’ve had in healthcare in a very long time! My daughter fell on outstretched hands at camp. We were seen by the wonderful Sr. Sevono, had x-rays, and got our custom removable casts (broke both radii) all in under two hours! Amazing, kind, knowledgeable docs, staff, and OTs made this an absolutely non-traumatic experience for a scared 5 year old! Thank you!!!

Thanks to Dr. Chams and the entire team at IBJI Libertyville and Grayslake for taking care of our son’s miniscus tear in a speedy and caring manner. Can’t thank you enough for being our physician for the past 10+ years.

90 min waiting in lobby…extremely slow service.. why advertise ortho access / immediate care and keep a patient waiting in lobby.. for evaluation in between patients…90+ min after arrivalif wait is going to longer than 90 min please communicate so patient understands & plans accordingly

Posting review based on recent “visit”. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE WITH ACCURATE INFO!! Website indicate they take walk-ins but after arriving, I was informed that they only take injuries that took place within 48 hours. I’ve been in pain and have resorted to using crutches to get around due to an incident that took place more than 2 days prior. I drove myself and hobbled over to the receptionist just to be turned away! It takes a lot of effort to get around and I would have saved myself the pain and inconvenience if I saw that piece of info on the website. Receptionist were not compassionate, and was told to just go to the ER. Seriously? That’s why I went to urgent care because it’s not life threatening, I’m just in a lot of pain and need to know if I have broken bones or just really bad sprain. I asked where the nearest urgent care and was given attitude. Very rude.
