We are happy clients: using this company for several years. Initially for Rodding, always reliable. Our most recent encounter was when sewer line broke this December a few days prior to long vacation. Dan handled everything very professionally and did great job. He found the pavers to remove bricks on the driveway, they were put away in design order to allow easy reassemble when done. He handled village permit, inspections.They worked for five days creating relatively minimal damage. Stayed in touch with us, we were able to watch the job being done on our video cameras and were very impressed how professionally it was handled. Five stars well deserved.
Follow up: NEVER RESPONDED when several years later the pipes broke again despite our desperate attempts to reach him. Definitely not recommended!

Just saw the reply from the owner. You sir are a moron. Again, my complaint is that you made two commitments and did not honor them. I can do this is crayon if you do not understand. And my mother call you? Seriously? Do not make a commitment if you cannot honor them. The second time you canceled, you also hung up on me. Good luck with your business. I am going to let everyone I know what kind of service they can expect.

Exceptional Work!!!! We had issues with our kitchen sink clogging for over a year now. We've had countless plumbers temporarily fix the problem, but then within a couple weeks we would have the same issues. I finally called AHS plumbing and Dan immediately set up a time and day for him to come and inspect the issue. Dan immediately knew what the previous plumbers did was just temporarily fix the problem! He walked us through what the issue was, how much it was going to cost, and how long it was going to take for him to fix it. He shortly after scheduled a time to come back and fix the issue and it's now been over two months and we have not had ANY problems!! Dan was beyond knowledgable, and so extremely helpful! You can really tell he is passionate about the work he does, and that he only delivers the best work! I would recommend Dan to anyone!!!

To say that Dan at AHS Plumbing is a superhero doesn’t reflect the magnitude of how outstanding he is. We called Dan in an emergency situation - out sewage pipe sheared away from foundation. We had major backup with raw sewage leaking onto our foundation. Dan answered our call and drove right over to talk to us. He was calm, knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring. He quoted us half of what local plumbers and bigger companies (Roto-Rooter) were wanting to charge. He fixed our issue and brought the plumbing up to code. Turns out, it’s a very common problem in the Mundelein area, so Dan knew what to do...he’s done it, literally, a hundred times, in this area. We were so lucky to have called him. Not only was he extremely efficient with this job, he took the time to explain everything he and his team was doing. We felt that communication was totally transparent and honest. I can not say enough about Dan at AHS Plumbing. We had issues with a tenant's clogging toilet. I did not know of a good and reliable plumber, so I just looked up plumbers with good reviews. Well, we hit the jackpot. It was a Saturday and even though a weekend, Dan answered on the first ring and rather than immediately try to sell us a toilet or charge for an onsite visit, he explained the best way to correct a clogging toilet, that we could do ourselves and try before having to move forward. What he told us to do absolutely worked and the toilet didn't clog anymore. We ended up deciding to buy a new toilet only because our tenants might not remember the simple trick to keep a toilet running efficiently, and Dan informed us of which toilet would be best. Because my husband had surgery we couldn't pick it up so Dan picked it up, delivered and installed the toilet. He was meticulous and efficient, going the extra mile to fix things he saw when he got there to ensure the issues he saw would be fixed. He's the best. Truly. I had a plumbing issue in my kitchen last night and called at 5:30 pm. By 8am this morning, Dan was at my door! He had booties to walk through the house, offered thorough explanations and practical advice, and fixed the problem in about an hour. He also checked out the pipes in my basement to make sure that everything was in proper order there, explaining what had completely mystified me about our plumbing. Thank you so much, Dan!
