My review is more about my personal trainer than the gym. Alven D is really wonderful to work with. He is very even-keeled and has a calm approach to coaching and teaching. He manages to walk the line between not overdoing it so much that you hate it, but not under-doing it so that you’re bored. He listens and takes into account what you need, and he answers all of my questions. We have great conversations while getting in a good workout. This should really be a solid 4 plus.....for client services, equipment, and clean facilities. The staff is welcoming and very helpful, makes it a pleasure to do my workout. Especially strong trainers who have helped me develop strength and agility. Very motivating! I highly recommend this health club.

My boyfriend and I came in today to check out LA Fitness after being recommended by a friend. Jackie helped us right away and she was amazing. so kind, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. She took time to understand our goals, walked us through the nationwide network of gyms, and really made us feel welcome. She absolutely nailed the experience.
Unfortunately, the General Manager came over midway through and completely killed the vibe. He didn’t add anything helpful and just repeated everything Jackie had already explained.
