Karl is the real deal. I came to International Hair Design due to it's convenient location over 5 years ago with high expectations and have been a loyalist ever since. Karl is a professional barber that is focused on his client's wants AND has exceptional recall from past cuts. This has manifested in a common language that allows me to explain what I am looking for and he brings it to reality with top precision with every visit. He is also a kind person who is passionate about his family and profession. Karl is a friend and a trusted partner in keeping my look on point.

My family has been going to International Hair for over 10 years, when I moved out of Barrington into Chicago, I will still make the hour plus trip all the way out to the suburbs because I know no one can do as good of a job as Karl. I’ve been to many barbers and Karl will always take his time to make sure everything is perfect and just how I want it. At this point I consider him family and would recommend him to anyone in the area that is looking for a barber. You also can’t find a better price for the service you get here.

What can I say about Karl that hasn't already been said? He gives the best and most consistent haircuts I've ever received, scissorhands down (sorry, couldn't resist... 🤷). He's also genuinely interesting, pleasant, and intelligent, which matters more than you might think, especially if you're tired of rolling the dice at chain salons like Sportscuts.
