I went to Mindy recently for a cut and highlights after having been holed up for months during the pandemic (and having lost my previous hairdresser of 18 years due to a move). It was not cheap, but I have a lot of hair, and she did a fantastic job! I’ve had several compliments on my hair lately, which I know can only be attributed to the beautiful job she did. If you’re looking to support a local business and want a fabulous haircut and/or highlights, I would recommend Mindy for sure.

Great place for a great haircut for men also. I have been going for years. I would highly recommend Melissa. She is the best for both men and women. Always gives me an awesome cut, short, mid length or a trim. Very convenient and accomadating with making appointments.

Studio Em gained a remarkable stylist when they hired Krissy Kosmoski. I've been a client of hers for over 10 years. Her professionalism and commitment to her clients is like no other stylist I've been exposed too. She listens to my style and color requests and together we achieve the best results. Always impressed. I really enjoyed my first visit to Studio Em this month. The location is great for me as I live in Gurnee. The salon layout is functional and so cozy! Just an overall GREAT experience! I highly recommend Krissy and Studio Em.
